This is my home. I have lived here for about eight years. This is the longest time I've ever lived anywhere except for my childhood home where I lived for ten years.  My home here is about ten blocks from the beach, and it is a nice easy stroll to the seaside.

On the way I pass by 3 antique stores, 7 or 8 restaurants, Vons, a surf shop, several boutiques and high-end clothing shops, a florist, a health food store, and, oh, the newly remodeled movie theatre, The Plaza, that shows first run movies almost every week.
