"On 23 December 1880 at 8 a.m. comes Maier Blackman, Rabbi, with three persons, and says that yesterday at 4 p.m. there was a marriage between Zyndel Oks, 23 years from his birth, bachelor, born in the city of Leczyca, son of Judel Oks and Leya Bogach, now living in Zgierz, and Ita Oswald, 21 years old, daughter of Juda Major (or Majer) Oswald and Leya Kleczewekich (ski or ska) and lives in the city of Lodz with her parents."
